Robusta
The Robusta retractable window awnings are ideal for large window applications to reduce heat gain and provide sun protection for your valuable furnishings from harmful UV rays. The heavy duty frame construction utilizes a unique arm tension system which allows adjustable angles from 0 to 160 degrees for complete shade control. The frames are powder coated for a beautiful and durable finish and a welded fabric top for invisible, super strong seams.
We offer two operational modes; our motorized unit is as easy as a touch of a button or our user-friendly easy hand crank to manually operate the awning.
An optional weatherguard hood cover protects the fabric when closed and provides a more finished appearance. Our professional installation team will take care of mounting your Robusta on the wall of your home.
Fixed Frames
The most popular fixed frame awnings we fabricate for houses tend to be our Bubble/Dome Style Awnings and Mansard/Shed Style Awnings.
Bubble/Dome Style Awnings
Bubble or Dome Awnings are classically elegant and feature a softly ballooning design that curves outward. The frame is welded aluminum and covered with fabric. They are commonly seen over smaller doors and windows. The standard bubble/dome style awning is symmetrical; the height and projection is the same dimension, while the width must be double the height/projection dimension.
Mansard/Shed Style Awnings
Mansard and Shed Style Awnings are triangular in design, feature a standard front panel that descends and are the most common to people because they have been around for centuries.
Mansard awnings tend to have a rigid or soft valance and side panels, while a shed style awning comes without side panels. Both awnings can be used for windows, entries, porches, patio and more. They are considered a traditional awning and typically used when restoring historical buildings.
