Made in Michigan!

Electric & Manual Retractable Awnings

When you want shade, you’ve got it!  Retractable awnings are there when you need them and gone when you don’t.  They help control the summer heat and glare of your outdoor deck or patio so you can extend your stay outside, give protection from harmful UV rays, and create a cool, shady place for you and your family.

We offer three models specifically manufactured by us, right here in Michigan! We are the only awning company in Michigan to fabricate retractable awnings at our facility.  Unlike our competitors that purchase and resell retractable awnings, we take pride in manufacturing our own units.  We know the components inside and out, which gives us a competitive edge over other awning companies.  We provide quicker lead times, have the parts and knowledge to service our retractable awnings and offer price points for every taste and budget.

Our retractable awnings are made of the highest quality fabric and come in two operational modes, electrical push button or easy hand crank. Our motorized option creates an outdoor room in seconds and features an override system that allows the manual hand crank to operate the awning when there is a loss of power due to an electrical outage.  We manufacture a variety of sizes to custom fit your needs.  Depending on attachment space, we can mount your retractable awning to the wall or roof…so let us do the heavy lifting.  We’ll professionally install your retractable awning!

We greatly value our products and want to offer you the best options available. Our free 5 & 10 year warranties back that up.

Call us today to schedule an appointment with one of our professional and knowledgeable sales consultants. We take the time to listen to your wants and needs, answer your questions and provide you with a solution and free estimate that’s fitting for you.

Measuring Instructions: Here’s How to Measure for Your New Awning:

Retractable Awning Measuring Instructions

For Your Fixed or Retractable Awnings:

To get the right size motorized or lateral arm awning for your home, simply follow the easy instructions below and download the details and illustration at right. Examples of colors and fabric selections can be found at the Sunbrella website.

1. Measure the height of the wall where you want to install your awning. You need at least 7 ft. 6 in. from your deck or patio floor to the bottom of any roof, eave, or overhang for a standard awning. If you don’t have this much clearance, an affordable customized awning can be created.

2. Measure along the side of your house to decide how wide an awning you want. While standard awnings come in pre-cut widths, custom awnings can be created to fit any area up to 40 feet wide.

3. Measure to make sure you have at least 9 inches of clear, unobstructed space horizontally along your wall where the awning will mount against the house.
